Danaipat got in touch to see if I could help him set up an engagement shoot on a secluded beach at sunset. Holywell bay immediately came to mind as one of my favourite backdrops in Cornwall. We discussed his vision and secretly started to plan for the big day. With numerous Amazon orders arriving at my house, Dan’s props were beginning to make shape.
We discussed possible dates and left 2 evenings open so we could watch out for a break in the weather. Thursday looked promissing so I put together a detailed map, worked out timings and saw Dan for the first time leading Christine towards the proposal spot nestled in the dunes overlooking Gull Rocks at Holywell. After a week of unsettled weather the clouds had started to break up and we were blessed with a beautiful Cornish sunset.
A group of beach walkers realised what was going on and held back to watch Christine being led down a candle-lit path towards a heart with a poem written by Dan. They all cheered as Christine accepted Dans proposal. It was very moving and after a nod from Dan I met the happy couple face-to-face for the first time.
Congratulations Dan and Christine!
Alastair helped set up a proposal for me on the beach in Cornwall and took some lovely photos during and some photos of us after with the lovely sunset in the back ground. We loved the photos and the great help received from Alastair. Many thanks.
